Fall Winter Escapes: Jackson Hole, St. Barts & Aspen
Looking to escape the sunshine state? CDM recommends some favorite Fall/Winter travel destinations.
Jackson Hole
Jackson Hole, a valley in western Wyoming, is surrounded by the peaks of the Tetons. Close to Grand TetonNational Park and Yellowstone National Park,it’s home to upscale ski resorts, a lively downtown, and wildlife such as bears, elks, moose and bison.
Where to stay:
Amangani, a 5-star luxury hotel and ski resort, offers breathtaking views in the foothills of Grand Teton National Park. Four Seasons Resort offers 5-star luxury accommodations and fine dining in the heart of Teton Village.
Where to eat:
The Blue Lion offers fine dining in a charming, historic1978 home. Located in the Four Seasons Resort, Westbank Grill is a mountain steakhouse offering panoramic views of Teton Village and Rendezvous Peak.
What to do:
Take a tour of Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone National Park. Visit the National Museum of Wildlife Art. Take a scenic drive, as Fall is a time of migration, mating, and preparation for winter, and you might see bears, moose, elk, and bison roaming freely.

St. Barts
Saint Barthelemy, a French-speaking Caribbean island also known as St. Barts, is known for it’s white-sand beaches, beach clubs, and designer shops.
Where to stay:

Aspen
Nestled in the heart of the White River National Forest and surrounded by the peaks of the Elk Mountains, Aspen, is a ski resort town and year-round destination for outdoor recreation. It’s also known for high-end hotels, fine dining restaurants and luxury designer boutiques.
Where to Stay:
Located at the base of Aspen Mountain, The St Regis offers 5 star accommodations and is within walking distance to all of Aspen’s shops, restaurants and entertainment. The Little Nell is a chic ski in/ski out 5 star luxury resort located at the base of Ajax Mountain and is surrounded by luxury shoppes.
